If you are looking for a free GPS software for your GPS device then you can try EasyGPS. With EasyGPS you can easily transfer all your waypoints, routes and tracks between your Laptop or Computer and your GPS device. EasyGPS works with many GPS devices. Tracking works with any GPS receiver or GPS antenna that outputs NMEA data to a COM port. Tracking works with either a physical serial port, or a virtual COM port. So if you have got a USB or Bluetooth GPS antenna then you can use the accompanying software to create a virtual COM port.
EasyGPS lists all of your way points along with a symbol, label and description on the left side of the window. On the right side you can see a plot of your GPS data. You can also use EasyGPS to back up and organize your GPS data, print maps, or load new waypoints onto your GPS device. You can also exchange your GPS data with other users if you are interested.
Currently EasyGPS supports GPS devices from Garmin, Lowrance, Magellan, MLR, Eagle, Brunton and Silva. GPS Devices from Cobra, Delorme, Humminbird and Tomtom are not supported currently.
