It is been warned by the scientists that mobile phones too should have a health warning similar to the warning placed on the cigarette packets or Alcohol which are forced to carry.
A U.S. congressional committee was informed by experts that the same mistake must not be committed by the authorities regarding the probable link between brain cancer and mobile phones similar to the mistake with lung cancer and cigarettes.
Professor David Carpenter, Director of the institute of health and environment at the University of Albany, comments: “Society must not repeat the situation we had with smoking and lung cancer, where we were waiting until every ‘i’ was dotted and ‘t’ was crossed before warnings were issued. Precaution is warranted even in the absence of absolutely final evidence concerning the magnitude of the risk – especially for children.”
What do you think, do you think that the scientists are being extra precaution, or do you think it’s just to create fear? Are you too of the similar opinion that heavy usage of mobile phones could cause brain cancer? Do you feel that the mobile phones should carry a health warning?
