Access GMail address book from your desktop with iContact

Now you can access all you Gmail contacts and mails on you PC. What’s new? In cases where you need to retain contacts information across different applications and programs like email, Skype, Gtalk and any other similar applications with availability on more than one computers then its going to be difficult or may not feasible to do so. iContact on the other hand is a kind of centralized database that stores all your contacts which are really worthy to you. If you need to access them then all you need to do is just open this desktop based contacts maintaining tool then select or search for the required contact easily. This eliminates the need to open the browser always for simple reasons. You can even access through internet from any other machine as it has sync with Gmail.

So download the file which is a zip file which is installer package of MSI with exe and supporting files then unzip and run. Enter your Gmail account details as it takes care of loading all your contacts then edit or remove the contacts if needed. Once you click the contact you will have their email address, home, work and all other details you had and are categorized well. From there you can directly call with Skype or display the details in large and clear text alone etc. + and X options represent to add and delete your contacts.

It is obviously far better then openings browser and browsing through Gmail for contacts. Unfortunately it does not work with contact groups which you add in Gmail users into a group with a name. To be simple it’s a full fledged contact manager and shows all contacts at once and does not quote actual or suggested type contacts. Despite lack of few features this tool does work well and is handy mainly for those who frequently access their mails from mail client or a chat client.
