U2opia’s App Allows Users To Access Facebook Without Internet

Now users can soon access Facebook on their mobile phones without internet connection. Software developer U2opia has developed facebook Pica mobile application which allows users to surf Facebook without a GPRS connection.

Usage Of USSD Technology

According to company officials they are using Unstructured Supplementary Data (USSD) technology for this. Users can view updates on the walls of their friends and the company has also built some commands through which users can receive alerts about activities happening on their walls.

The application has been launched with Airtel and Airtel customers can update their FB status with the help of this application for free. They however, need to pay Rs 1 per day for accessing the full feature application. Airtel subscribers can access the application by dialing *325# and *fbk#.  In India very people use internet on their mobile phones and through this application they can remain connected with their near and dear ones from anywhere they want.
