Now you need not create a website to display your profile in the search engines. Now with the help of Google Profiles you can display your profile on the web. Earlier your Google profile was hidden from the Search Engines. But now Google changed their robots.txt which will allow the search engines to crawl your profile.
With a Google profile, you can easily share your information and web content at a single location. For example, you can include links to your Website, Blog, online photos, and other profiles such as Facebook, Orkut, LinkedIn, and more.
So you can add a lot of information so that other people can find you very easily on the Internet. Once you create a profile, Google will automatically suggest links to some of the other Google products you currently use. You can also choose to display one or more of these links on your public profile.
The details that you can add to your Google Profile
- You can add your Photo
- Your Nickname
- Where you grew up
- Where you are living now
- What you do
- Current Companies and Companies you had worked for
- Your Interests
- You can also add Custom Links
