Yesterday I was trying to find the open ports in my system using a small utility called CurrPorts. With the help of CurrPorts you can easily View Opened TCP/IP and UDP ports / connections in your machine. For every port in the list you will get a lot of information like the process name, Process ID, Path of the Process, Version, Owner of the process and many others. With the help of CurrPorts you can actually delete unwanted TCP/IP or UDP connections. You can also save the information about the TCP/UDP ports to a text file or an XML file or a HTML file. The good thing about this application is that it will display a pink bar for suspicious TCP/IP or UDP open ports.
CurrPorts is a standalone application. So you can use it directly without any Installation. You can use “Advanced Filters” to monitor only the open ports.
