The most recent news runs around GOOG’s T-Mobile is that it will be launching by January 2010. Nexus One is the supposed name of Google Android phone.
Google’s vice president of product management, Mario Quieroz, said that some Google employees had been given a new mobile device to test. “We recently came up with the concept of a mobile lab, which is a device that combines innovative hardware from a partner with software that runs on Android to experiment with new mobile features and capabilities, and we shared this device with Google employees across the globe,” he informed.
Google is still experimenting with the features of the new T-Mobile. Nexus One will be in the FCC model number PB99100. The sales tips also may be different and innovative. The talks say that Gphone will be sold without intermediate or not through a network contract also. The users have to choose their service provider.
Don’t think this expensive T-mobile entrance will be a headache for Google. GOOG is smart to tackle the situations here also. Google may reach its idea for cheap delivery of its phones or sponsored service to consumers in exchange for advertising. The technology reviewers evaluating the cost may be high as between $300 to $500, though company didn’t confirm more details.
