Freeware Applications for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic S60 5th Edition Mobile

Today I was browsing for some useful applications for my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Mobile. After searching for a while I found some useful Applications on the Nokia HongKong site. All these applications are developed for the Nokia 5800 which is based on the Symbian Series 60 5th Edition. With Mail For Exchange you can access all your mails very easily. You can even open the attachments and view them on your mobile. You can use applications like Quick Office or Adobe Reader Lite to open the documents or PDF’s that are sent as attachments. The application is pretty fast and you will feel like you are working on your PC. You can also synchronize your Tasks, Contacts and Calendar entries to manage your work very easily. This is a very useful application for your Nokia 5800 Cellphone.

Talking Dictionary for Nokia 5800

If you are looking to learn English or improve your vocabulary in a fun way then this talking dictionary will be very useful. But this is for Chinese language only. But you can use this Cambridge International Chinese-English Dictionary to learn how to pronounce the words. Though this application will be useful I hadn’t installed it because of the huge file size. The application is just 78MB. (If you had used it please let us know your feedback).

One of my reader was asking a way to download Quick Office and Adobe Reader Lite for Nokia 5800. To do that just goto Menu > Download! > Applications and select the Application you need. All the Applications are FREE; Though you may charged for the GPRS data. There are also many other Applications present in the Download section of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. You can download GyPSii, IM+ All-in-One messenger for Nokia 5800, JoikuSpot premium for 5800 XpressMusic, Qik, SMS Chat and WorldMate.

    I tried installing the Smart Movie but it doesn’t play the videos.. I’ll write about a good player for Nokia 5800 once I found one!!

    There aren’t any which are working good.. Mobile DVD is not really good. and Smart Movie Player also doesnt work fine on 5800..

    Nokia is releasing the update slowly to all the locations. Wait for a few days and you will definitely get it. If you are damn curious to update to the new firmware you can change the product code and do that (Note: it will void your warranty)

    Serg, мне кажется это не телефон тормоз а просто кое у кого руки кривые). Пользуюсь своим Nokia 5800 с 15 декабря 2008, все отлично работает. Обновил прошивку, после этого телефон вообще носиться стал, никаких тормозов, никаких глюков. Так что не надо гнать на хороший аппарат.
