These days I’m almost seeing a new feature added to Gmail everyday. Today Google added a new feature to Gmail which will enable you to add your location in the Gmail signature. A location string is attached to your current signature after you enable this feature. This feature will be very useful for people who travel frequently.

You can enable the “Location in Signature” feature for Gmail by going to Settings>Labs. Then open your signature preferences and check the box next to “Append your location to the signature”. The location is obtained based on your public IP address. But you can as well use Google Gears to get accurate information.

I tried the feature and it had shown my location as “Sent from: Bangalore Ka India.”
