Search Files on NTFS Drives Quickly With Everything

“Everything” is a small freeware utility for your NTFS drives. “Everything” uses the Master File Table of the NTFS volume to build its database. It works much better than the Windows’ default search function. “Everything” works by accessing the NTFS USN Change Journal maintained by the NTFS drivers which logs all changes made on your NTFS drive. It basically uses the raw Master File Table for building its database.
“Everything” can be integrated to the context menu and you can search search any drive or folder by using a right click and “Search Everything ..”. You can even use regular expressions for filtering. Only files and folders that are on NTFS volumes will be indexed by “Everything”. So you cannot use it on a disk with FAT or a different type of formatting. “Everything” uses very little resources to do the job.
