If you are looking to recover data from your Ext2FS/Ext3FS file system disks then you can try R-Linux. R-Linux is a freeware Utility to recover data from Ext2FS/Ext3FS file system used in the Linux OS. It can even recover files from existing logical disks even when file records are lost. However, there is no any network capabilities or ability to reconstruct damaged RAIDs or stripe sets in R-Linux. It would have been good if these features are also added.
With R-Linux you can recover data when data is deleted because of Virus attacks or power failures. R-Linux ca recover data from bad sectored disks also.
Features of R-Linux:
- Simple to use “Windows Explorer” – style interface.
- Host OS: Win9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista.
