Have you ever seen a thin LCD TV? If not be prepared to view the world’s thinnest LCD TV. Sony is the company which is proud to introduce its sexy world’s thinnest LCD TV. This thinnest LCD TV is known as Sony KDL-40ZX1.
The LCD TV measures 9.9mm thick and weighs 26 pounds and it is 40-inches. It also features a LED backlighting, 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz MotionFlow tech, x.v.Color and BRAVIA Engine 2 image processing. It is priced only at $4,474 that is after the conversion from ¥. This sexy slim LCD TV shall be released in Japan on November 10th, 2008.
The ZX1’s wireless base station supports 3 HDMI, 2 component, a S-Video, and a VGA input. Sony is really very fast in bringing new technologies to us. An AV mouse, USB, LAN and even standard phone port is also supported. The Av Mouse feature will really help me a lot. The USB port will allow you to hook up your Sony camera and display your photos in full HD.
However, it appears that it will only transmit video wirelessly at 1080i. I’m not actually sure of it. Sony will also release a wired model, that may only include one HDMI port. But I’m not sure how many people will prefer the wired model over the wireless model. So, it is logical to state that this television will only have one HDMI input by itself, making the base station very necessary.
